When viewing a zoomed in list, it is hard to tell what the parent is, especially on larger screens. The parent title is currently displayed in the title bar all the way on the left side of the screen while the items are floating in the center of the screen without context. On my monitor, the left edge of the title is literally 6" from the left edge of the zoomed in list.

The first (naive) thought is: "Why having + for every single task?" Probably it's unnecessary and we could have zoom icon there: super-task-collapsed_var1.png

Another idea is to have clickable task ID: super-task-collapsed_var2.png
For top-level task it would do nothing - link to task which is already selected. And for task with subtasks we could zoom in by clicking it.

Thus, it seems to me that in zoomed + Alt mode titles of super task are not required. They are actually could be misleading - we can see such titles when filtering and in that case titles may be different. In zoomed mode titles are always the same but if we are displaying titles it's assumed they can be different.

Hi Mike, You can press Ctrl (or Alt for Mac) to see the “breadcrumbs” (aka parent and grandparent tasks) right above the tasks to see the context. Let me know if this helps.

On the original screenshot by Mike center block is limited in width but currently it is not.

Hello everyone.
I'd suggest to consider 2 issues here. 1) not perfect layout for ultra-wide screens 2) breadcrumbs
To me having breadcrumbs for every task is too verbose.
Alt_mode is cool in the root view but looks complicated in zoomed mode.Thus, I'd suggest 1) to revise layout for wide screens to see top level title closer to the main list. 2) consider removing breadcrumbs because they just duplicate info in the title. It's hardly useful to see the same title repeating 20-30 times on every line.
