This questions is for those who have been successfully using Quire for a while. I have only just started... and I like it a lot. But I am really struggling to stay on top of activity that is happening across tickets.
By activity I mean comments by other users, I think there are some bugs that are not helping. But I feel I must also be using the system poorly.
I have moved from Producteev. My process there was easy: i) Producteev showed me a notification bell like Quire. ii) That bell showed me how many notifications i had NOT read (like Quire) iii) When i looked at a notification on a task the count next to the bell decreased (not like Quire which has the number disappear altogether - which makes me sad) iv) I kept working through the notifications until that number read 0. Yay, I know I am on top of everything.
In Quire: i) The notification bell loses its number every time i click on it. So i never really know how many things i haven't checked. ii) The 'READ' status for tasks i haven't clicked on get cleared. So I have no idea what things i have checked. This i think is a bug which is being looked into iii) There are little orange circles on projects which I understand indicate activity. But in the Android app I cant seem to tell what tasks had the activity or what the activity was. I think it is similar in the web interface.
Sooo, how does everyone else know that they have seen all the comments on tickets they are following, or checked you agree with the new state of tasks?
Thanks
