Hi, I created a new project called "Marketing". I may have previously created and deleted a project by the same name, or at least that's the only conclusion I've come to, because I noticed the ID is set to "Marketing-17" instead of simply "Marketing" (which I would prefer). I attempted to change the Project URL to "Marketing" but Quire tells me that "This ID is already taken". Is there a way to recover my previously created "Marketing" project or overwrite it with my new one? I would hate to have to think of a new name just to get around this. Thanks.
Was it another user on my team?

@crystal is there any plans to move away from the current URL path "/w/Project Title" to maybe a clearer/easier to understand path ie. "/c/CompanyName(as already in effect)/Project Title"
This would IMO make it much clearer and easier for people to understand/manage and also may appear more 'professional' to some also, by having their "Company name" in the URL. š
Thanks for the great product, i'm loving it so far!

I agree with @brendantay86 on that point. I've wondered the same thing. Why is it not already this way? Then everyone can have their own clean URLs (as long as they have a unique company name).

The reason not to put organization's ID in project's URL is to have a short URL. Also, project's URL is permanent even if the organization's ID is changed or it is transferred to another organization.
Furthermore, if it is an issue, you can put in the organization yourself, such as /w/MyOrg_MyPrj. It will have a similar result.
Note: ID is independent of project's name. You can name it anyway you'd like.

Hi mlynam, Looks like the ID āMarketingā was taken by another user when it became available, and so is impossible to be recovered for you.

Hi Matthew, No, I donāt think so.

If the objective is to have a short URL, then I think most people would agree with me that a hash like /w/gh49sl3al9 would be better than /w/MyOrg/TaskNum/CroppedTitle
