Delay after pressing <F2> key makes editing difficult

When I want to edit a task, I press <F2> on my keyboard and then immediately the <Home> key to go to the start of the task's name. (On Windows 10 and Chrome).

But there's a small delay after I press <F2>, and the edit mode is not activated immediately. So if I press the <Home> key right away, the list scrolls to the top, because the edit mode isn't active yet. This is inconvenient because I am used to pressing keys very rapidly, but in Quire I have to wait after pressing the <F2> key.

Can we activate the edit mode of the task as soon as you detect <F2>, and then when I press the <Home> key immediately, the cursor will jump to the start of the task name and allow me to edit it.
