It sounds reasonable to turn off all tips. We'll think about it.

Hi Tom, thanks for response, I'm using Chromium - 64.0.3282.119 on Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon 64-bit. Maybe its appear not exactly in few seconds, but very often (almost always i check tasks) for now i have to block tag div class="quire-alert alert alert-info" but it is not so elegant solution like disabling tips somewhere in settings. I'm using regular view (not incognito) and never logout from quire (my computer is on 24/7)

Cannot reproduce this issue anymore (Win 10 64bit, Vivaldi 2.2.1388.37). For me it was reproducible at the time when it was reported, but for the last 6 months I have never seen any tips. So can it be considered as fixed?

+1 to disable tips please. They are distracting on web and very hard to dismiss on small screen mobile phones.

Hi Dan, it sounds like a bug. Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce it here.

Technically, once you closed it, the same tip won't be shown up again. And, the next tip, if any, won't be shown in half hour at least.

Are you running in Incognito mode? What browser are you using? When you said it shows up again, do you logout and login in between?

Regards, Tom

+1 for me on this topic, I'm on chrome, win10 64, not running in privacy and I keep seeing tips and they do repeat. Even if they didn't repeat, it should be optional as even though they can be useful, they can also be distracting, especially when everything else about the interface is so clutter free
