When i have the details pinned open for a task and zoom into it by accident when there are no subtasks, the detail panel closes. Understandable because there are no details to display. But if i then zoom out again i have to manually reopen the detail panel and click to pin it again.
In short, I'd like for the pinning behavior to stick better and shield me from mistakes. You could also disable zooming when there are no subtasks to display. That could also solve this problem.
Instead of the detail panel to be closed by default, i would prefer it to be possible to have them pinned open by default.

The ability/feature to pin the Detail panel and pin the Sidebar is tremendously useful. It makes it so easy to rapidly scan through projects, tasks, and their details visually with almost no effort. The ability to copy/paste from the clipboard (i.e, screenshots, etc.) into comments in the Detail Panel is also a tremendous feature!
