I'm trying to figure out how to best implement Quire for my personal small business. My goal is to have recurring projects each month. For example, I have to get financial reports to a client each month by the 20th. I created a project called "Monthly Reports for x" I then listed out each task that needs to be done to finish this monthly project. This looks great so far except I'm having trouble assigning a due date to the project as a whole (I assigned a due date to the final task within the project though) and I want this project to be recreated each and every month automatically. It seems like I can do both of these things if I change the 'project' to a task with a bunch of sub tasks. Is this the solution?
My point is, how do you have a recurring task that is not assigned to a project? I don't even see where I can create a task without creating a project. It seems like you must create a project, then create a task (and then subtasks) Is the hierachy: Organization>Project>Task>Sub-task ? I like having the Organizations, but would like to skip having a Project and instead just have a bunch of recurring "Tasks" under each of my "Organizations" (clients)

Hi Kevin, Yes. You can try creating a recurring task called “Monthly Reports for x” and list out all things need to be done under it as subtasks, sub-subtasks and so on.

No I already use my inbox for that. I'm essentially looking for a place (Quire) where I keep all my recurring checklists (to do lists) for each of my clients. The best example is that for "company x" (organization), I need to "send of monthly reports" (project), so [insert check list of actionable items] (list). Multiply that example by 20 in Quire. The way Quire looks to me so far, I can't have the project recur monthly, therefore how am I supposed to keep the checklists recurring?

Hi Kevin, Yes, you are right. You can read more on hierarchy in the guide and the blog post. Would something like an "inbox" - a general place for you to dump your ideas and tasks before you decide where they go - be close to what you have in mind?
