#700: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed
Tag: Resolved

If the project is linked to slack and someone writes a comment to a task, it should be shown on the slack channel and linked directly to the task.

Hi Inna, You are welcome. 😃

Cool! Thats awesome! Thank you!

it depends on how quire is used. we normally do the discussion in slack and comment rarely on tasks. Of course such a feature should be switchable on/off

Inna, Dec 4, 2017

Hi Inna, Now, when someone writes comment on a task (and adds a task) in a Slack channel, you should be notified. 😃

Crystal, Dec 6, 2017

Hi Inna, After you make the Slack channel follow the Quire project (type /quire follow project [project ID]), you will see comments posted by others in Quire in the channel.

I needed it the other way round: I comment on a task in quire, and this comment will be posted in the slack channel.

Inna, Dec 6, 2017

Hi Inna, That sounds reasonable. We shall add it to our list of to-dos and let you know when available. 😃

Crystal, Dec 5, 2017

Hi @crystal, Currently every change is notificated in slack. This is really too much noise in the slack channel. It would be better, if ONLY new comments on a task will be sent to slack

Inna, Dec 11, 2017

Hi Inna, Unfortunately, when you follow a project, Quire will notify you of all updates made in it.

Crystal, Dec 12, 2017

Hi Inna, If we show all comments in all tasks of the linked project in the Slack channel, wouldn’t you find the channel too “noisy” (crowded) with all the comments?
