#680: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed

Great product guys!! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

Could you please add a setting in the app to auto-assign to the user who created the task? That way tasks will always show up in someone's "my task" list and not be missed.

The user could then of course re-assign the task to a different person, if appropriate. This is especially important for someone like me who wants to use Quire to manage all of their tasks, and needs to see what they have to do across all projects, whether a date has yet been set or not.

Could well be that I've just missed where to do this and I should wait for the docs to be added instead :-)

Best regards,

Leo

I think there should be an option when you create a project you can select if it's a personal project or team project. If it's personal it will auto assign the task to the user (of course it can always be edited to another user if necessary).

Hi Ckajioka, Quire is supported for team projects, but you are able to assign projects to yourself or other team members by hovering over and editing the assignees icon.

Hi Leo, Happy to know you are enjoying the app! πŸ˜ƒ Nice suggestion. What if we let users select multiple tasks and then β€œbatch” assign them to someone in the iOS app (already available in the web app), would it be helpful for you? Fyi, when a task is assigned to someone, subtasks added under will automatically be assigned to that person.
