Sometimes, I have lists without a deadline, but with a sequence, so I use numbers or letters to have a sequence. Can tasks be organized alphabetically?

  1. Clean carpet.
  2. Clean room.
  3. Buy groceries. Then I organize, and once is organized it stays as is, unless, for example I add another task that I need to do before No.2, i.e. 1A. Walk the dog. If I organize again, the sequence would be 1-1A-2-3. Hope it is clear now.

Hi Jaiver, Thank you for the example. So like sort by Date, what you have done in the task list will be reflected in the sorted view. And I believe your answers to my questions are 1) No and 2) Yes? We shall consider it.

Hi Crystal. Thank you for answering. What I expect from a sort alphabetically option is the same behavior as for the "sort by expiry date"... Once is organized, it can't be put back unless something that affects the organization changes. I think it would be easier with an example. Let's say I have:

Hi Jaiver, Let’s say we add a sort alphabetically option. Would you expect to be able to 1) drag & drop (move) tasks in this sorted view, and if so 2) see the original tree structure after you un-sort?
