I would love to see another view in the notification emails. Right now the emails are a chronologic view of all modifications done in the last 24 hours. In my case with 60+ modifications the overview gets lost very fast.
It would be great to some kind of project / task modification summary in the email: Project Plant a tree |----- Select a type of tree or plant |----- John added subtask "Check if tree is right for the climate" |----- Derek assigned task to Elena |----- Elena completed task |----- Mary commented "bla bla" |----- Sarah completed task |----- Next task |----- action... |----- etc .... |----- etc ....
This would give a great overview of all daily modifications and a nice per task timeline without having to view every task in the browser.
Additionally the date of the modification can be left out. As it's a summary of al modifications yesterday, there is no need the add the date of yesterday on the start of each new line. (except the upcoming due date reminders)
Hi Ivo, What is your Email Notifications settings in Account Settings? Screenshots of it and the email alert you received would be nice. Fyi, we are already considering to let users choose what they want to get notified of (eg. when a comment is posted, when you are mentioned). 😃

Hi Crystal, just giving this task a bumb. This morning I recieved an email alert with a summery of the last 3 days; 125 notifications 😞 I don't know why I didn't recieve the daily mail last 2 days.
Regarding task management; I was talking to a colleague where he also acknowleged it's hard to keep a clean overview of a project without being in the details and going true all notifications. We mainly create tasks without spitting true them all the time. So we only want to see the overview and progress of a treath without the details unless we think want to.
Advanced notifications option would be really nice;
- Actions per project and task summarized as the picture example above.
- Possibility to select what action needs to be included (comment, added tag, completed etc) preferably per project
- Seperate notification settings for when someone mentions you in a comment
All this would improve the usability from a mamangement point of view tremendously.
Let me know if you want more ideas regarding the implementation.

Hi Ivo, Thank you for the screenshot! It does make the activities summary clearer. 😃 We will consider it. And about leaving out the date, we probably still need it as users may choose to receive email notifications Weekly.
