Hi,
I'm sharing several projects within an organisation with my colleagues. Now the problem we start to face is that nobody except admins can create projects within that organisation. But if I make someone admin, they get access to all projects within that organisation, something I do not want.
I want to give people the option to create their own projects and choose who has access to those projects. If everyone gets access to all projects the minimalistic and clean view is instant gone.... I have ~10 projects which I use for myself only, and I don't need and don't want to see all projects that are relevant for the organisation but not for me.
Please add the permission to create projects without full access to all projects or maybe an option to stop inheriting permissions from the organisation to projects.
Ivo
Hi Ivo, Please let me double check what you have in mind: You would like to have a member role (permissions) that can 1) add projects in an organization that he is a member of and 2) choose what projects he wants to access in this org (and/or choose WHO can access WHAT projects in this org)?

Hi Ivo, Thank you for clarifying it with an example. 😃 Stopping the permission inheritance from organization to projects can be one solution. Or, we can add a new role (permissions) for organization members that do not give them access to any project in the organization. If they want to access a specific project, then they need to become members of that project. Please let us think further about it. Thanks again!

Hi Ivo, Duly noted. 😃

Hi Crystal, I did some extra testing. I would like a "grant person to create projects within this organisation" permission.
As said before, another (for me) perfect solution would be to stop inheriting permissions from the organisation to the projects.
Example: Our organisation (members: user1) | |----Project1 (members: user1) | |----Project2 (members: user1, user2) | |----Project3 (members: user1, user2, user3)
Now I want to grant user3 to create projects within this organisation. BUT I don't want to grant user3 access to Project1 and Project2.
Hopefully this makes it more clear.
Ivo

Hi Crystal,.
you are welcome! For us, this is a big issue in rolling out Quire into the company. e.g. I would love to see this option ;)
