Who gets/gets not Notifications

I am confused about in which cases members respectively followers (the eye symbol, right?) of a project get notifications in acticities in tasks belonging to this project: Every task can have its assignees as well as followers, and so can projects. Could you make a table like: Notification for ((project member/follower/…)) are coming from activities in ((project/task/subtask…))
