It's too easy to accidentally complete a task and sub tasks. The undo is nice, but if you don't notice you hit it by mistake, the undo doesn't really matter.
Is there a way to force a confirmation when completing a task, or to force a drop down menu on tasks within the main window, or require a right click to select complete?
Is there a way to force you to complete all sub tasks first before being able to complete the parent tasks?
The fact that one wrong click or tap can complete an entire task and all sub tasks at once is a problem for me.
p.s. I have slighted edited the title of this feedback to better reflect the idea. This way other users who are looking for similar request can add their comments here.

Hi John, Sorry for this super-belated reply! We have moved the complete icon a bit farther away from the task name in the recently-announced Quire 2.0.

Perhaps it is better for you now?

Hi all - We have an update. Right now, when the subtasks are not in sight, and when you complete or delete a parent task, a warning dialog will appear. You can also tick the 'Do not show again' option for warning not to show in the future. I hope this helps.

Thank you for your exceptional support and care 😃

I agree with this, Maybe a simple 'comment' window on task completion could prevent this - also I imagine such functionality would be useful for most?
