#265: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed
Tag: Resolved

Looking for a possible feature addition of completing Sub-Tasks, or potential workarounds.

As a background: I use Quire on an individual basis (i.e I don't have a team to coordinate tasks with, it's simply my task manager for day-to-day tasks). The majority of how I use the tool is as follows: I will have a call with a customer of mine in which I take notes of things to do for them, then enter in those notes that I need to do for a followup in an individual task in Quire. each individual task can then have several "sub-tasks" (ex. the task will be "Anthony conversation followup", and that will include sub-tasks for "send pricing sheet", "send demo video", "investigate technical issue he mentioned", etc.). Once I send all that info in my followup email, I will mark the task as Complete.

This works well, however the only thing that would make it better is if i could have an ability to mark each subtask as completed. Currently, I just put a large X in front of things completed.

Loving the product, though! It's a lifesaver.

Hi Michael, Thank you so much for sharing your user experience! And good job on discovering the subtask (our key) feature. 👍 By the way, I am curious, why did you need a solution like Quire (eg. have trouble organizing your day-to-day tasks)? Would love to hear more from you. 😃

@crystal My job is customer facing and i have several interactions per day in virtual meetings, most of which involve some sort of followup. I also handle consulting and implementation of software in my position. As such, I have a ton of small to large tasks to organize and take care of throughout the day. I use Quire to stay on top of those tasks and schedule out future tasks. Would be happy to provide more feedback!
